Aloha, Lovecat or Kitten,
Let’s start off this week right, shall we? … With gorgeous pictures of an amazing weekend enjoying the gifts that O‘ahu has to offer. An afternoon sailing tour with a good girl friend. Come along with me.
{ Life’s a Beach: Sailing O‘ahu’s Windward Coast AKA the East Shore, Waimanalo Bay, Waimanalo Beach, Lanikai Beach and Mokulua }

Went sailing with one Miss Love, my girl friend, hiking partner in crime, my natural lifestyle mentor and fellow auto-immunie who is beating her condition into submission via healthy lifestyle, exercise, diet and radiating positive energy. We took a sailing tour on a Hawaiian/Polynesian Vaka Style canoe out along the Windward Side of Oahu out to the Mokulua (two islands) off of the fabled and stunning Lanikai Beach. AMAZING. I love our ‘aina (land).
(Captions TBD… it’s pretty late right now, and I have work in Le morn.)

You don’t see any photos of me, but I’m covered head to toe in sun protection gear and a fun beach UPF 50+ straw hat and big sunglasses.I did, however, manage to swim in my rash guard… but the current almost swept me away, and so I pretty much swam in place while holding on to the boat for dear life. When I called time on my poor attempt at swimming, I got back into the boat and covered right back up after reapplying sunscreen and putting my hat back on. I looked like the love child of Nicole Richie + a Nun, but I didn’t get a tan, so I called it a pretty good day.
I hope your weekend was fabulous, and that it set the tone to have a fantastic and equally amazing week to come!
May the wind always fill your sails and the stars shine bright to light your way in the darkness.
Rock on, Lover!

Wow! What beautiful pictures! I love the color of the water and it looks like you had fun. Huge fan of the pictures of the dock leading out to the water! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you, Katrina! Glad you like them. If you ever come to Hawaii, I’d be happy to show you this place (if I can get access). 🙂
